We have signed up to received news from Richmond Community Voluntary Service, which is an umbrella organisation for all community voluntary groups operating across Richmond upon Thames. Richmond CVS produces a regular round up of forthcoming events and activities and often includes matters which would be of interest to Scout Groups and Explorer Units – including grants which are available. We also receive the Richmond upon Thames Council’s Voluntary Sector News and Updates Bulletin, but this has recently been more infrequently produced.

We have not verified that any leads are suitable for Scout Groups or Explorer Units but suggest that Groups or Units should be cautious about involving Scout members with vulnerable young people, offender rehabilitation etc. Guidance can be provided if you contact your relevant District Lead Volunteer.
