Richmond Twinning Affirmation parade
Richmond Twinning Affirmation Weekend occurring from the 6th to the 8th of June 2025, when Richmond Council will be hosting a weekend of festivities to reaffirm the borough’s
long-standing international partnerships with Konstanz in Germany and Fontainebleau in France.
Richmond upon Thames are expecting hundreds of overseas guests next year & over one hundred local clubs & associations have already registered to take part in the celebrations. The Richmond Fair on 10th May will kick off a month of festivities prior to the main event by adopting a Franco-German theme.
Richmond upon Thames Scout District have been invited to participate in a parade to mark the celebrations. The parade will take place on Sunday 8th June starting from Marble Hll Park to York House – roughly around a 15 minute walk starting at about 11am.
