Whitton’s St George’s Day Festival of Fun

Date: 21st April 2024 Location: High Street Whiiton Sections: Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Scout Network, Adult Volunteer, District, Squirrel Scouts

Whitton’s St George’s Day Festival of Fun is taking place on Sunday 21st April this year.

Graeme Wood, the event organiser writes:

Planning is already well under way and we are now inviting applications from stallholders, parade participants and performers. Scouts of all types are welcome to hold a stall and/or take part in the parade.

Stall holders can apply here: https://www.abra.co.uk/lovewhitton/apply.html

There has been a slight change in stall classification for food traders.  Any food cooked on site and meant for immediate consumption is classified as food trading.  Cakes, sweets and other products packaged so they can be taken home or eaten later are now classified as standard trading along with the other stalls.

Performers and parade participants (Scout Groups are particularly welcome!) can email hello@lovewhitton.co.uk

We have set up an event page on Facebook here https://www.facebook.com/events/1037295864031892

Please share it with all your contacts and help spread the word!

I look forward to seeing you all once again at this amazing event.

Kindest regards,

Graeme Wood

Nature and the outdoors are languages that can be learned. Once you identify a beech tree, tie a clove hitch or cook a simple meal over a fire that you’ve built yourself, you’ll never forget it.'
