Everyone loves a Birthday Party! And everyone is bound to have a birthday in 2025. So what could be better than a Birthday Party outdoors with all your friends at camp? For a day or for a week!

Exciting fun and games for Scouts of all ages. Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network Scouts are all invited!

In addition to all the organised badgework and ‘just for fun’ onsite activities such as The Big Swing, the Twin Giant Zip Lines, the High Ropes, abseiling, Tomahawks, Laser Shoot, Backwoods & Survival Skills and many more .. there’ll be the Big Campfire, the Great BIG Birthday Street Party (yes – with jelly!), dance parties, wide games and naturally, a trip offsite and local hikes.

Camp for young people is Saturday 2nd August (arrive) to Saturday 9th August (depart). Day visit and overnight options for Squirrels and Beavers. All-week (7 night) or shorter-period stay options for all other sections. Plus a day either side for Leaders camp set up and breakdown.

Using last year’s successful District Korea Camp as a template, the arrangements, activities and outings will be broadly the same –  but with some improvements based on last year’s feedback.

The cost of the Camp (payable to District via your Group or Unit) will include all activities, outing, sports & games and even some exclusive merchandise but will not include catering and other Group costs.

There is a flexible Young People ticketing structure for 7 nights, 4 nights or day visitors and perhaps other options too.

The District Ticket prices per head are capped at 2023 prices:

• 7 Nights access to all available activities = £200
• 4 Nights access to all available activities = £120
• 1 Night District Beaver Sleepover + all available activities = £45
• YP Day Visitors and Squirrels camping with their Group = £10
• Adult Volunteers camping = £10 (any number of nights)
• Adult Volunteers indoor accommodation = £30 (any number of nights)

But even with added Group costs this is still the best value Summer Holiday a Scout of any age can have!

Please display posters and encourage the young people in your Drey, Colony, Pack, Troop or Unit to join in the fun! The more people who join, the bigger the fun!

NEW FOR 2025

We want as many Young People as possible to benefit from Scouting in the Outdoors. For Groups and Units who may not have enough ‘qualified’ adult volunteers or resources to run a full Group camp on their own we can help! As a large District, we can pool resources and create a District-run site. Nobody should be left out!

• Booking opens 31/3/25
• Booking closes 20/4/25 with non-refundable deposit and your provisional numbers
• Final numbers to be notified 20/5/25
• Invoices issued by approximately 27/4/25
• Full amount payable by 5/7/25
• Leaders meeting (1 per group/unit) 12/7/25
