2023 – What a year!

2023 – what a year it’s been!

There’s so much joy and fun for everyone to look back on. Not only have our youth Members had a great time picking up Skills For Life, our adult volunteers have had a ball too!

As a District we’ve enjoyed camps and expeditions, hikes and rambles, outings and fun days, social gatherings and meetings, highly enjoyable fundraising events of all kinds from jumble sales to quiz nights, awards evenings, street parties (and more!) for the Coronation , firework spectacles, parades and marches, barbecues and picnics, talks and lectures, trips abroad and visits closer to home, competitions and challenges and we’ve used pretty much every mode of transport known to man – boats of all types from kayaks and skiffs to ferries and cruise ships, cars, buses, coaches, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, go-karts, Segways, aeroplanes, helicopters, hovercraft … and probably even pogo sticks!
