Explore Galicia in Spain in 2023
Calling all Scouts, Explorers and Network Members (who will be over the age of 16 on the 22nd July 2023)
We are delighted to say that the 2023 Explorer Belt expedition to Galicia in Spain has now launched.

The trip will be focused on a 10 day hike from the 22nd July to the 4th August 2023. You’ll travel through Galicia as a small team of 4 or 5 Explorer Scouts or 3 to 5 Network members for 10 days. You’ll meet local people, talk to them and complete a series of projects. During your expedition, you’ll select your own route and cover about 150 km on foot. After your expedition you’ll make a presentation to gain your Explorer Belt.
If you’re interested in the 2023 Explorer Belt, please register for one of the Information Afternoons at the link here. They’re on Saturday 24th September and Sunday 9th October. They’re from 2pm to 3:30pm and are on Zoom.
As well as registration, you will need to attend two preparation weekends in November 2022 and March 2023 and undertake additional pre-expedition planning and activities.
