It is with great sadness that we learned of the recent death of Sir Jack Petchey CBE, founder of the Jack Petchey Foundation. Sir Jack passed away peacefully in the early hours of  Thursday 27 June. He will be greatly missed by friends, family and the many young people, teachers and leaders whose lives have been impacted by Sir Jack’s vision and the work of his Foundation.

“If you think you can – you can”

We want to reassure you that the Jack Petchey Foundation, and all associated programmes including our Achievement Award Scheme and partnerships, will continue as Sir Jack’s living legacy. Please keep an eye on our email communications for all important updates and information regarding our programmes.

We will be organising an event to celebrate Sir Jack’s life and we will send you more information about this in due course.

If you would like to send a message of condolence or thanks to Sir Jack, we would welcome your tribute to our in-memory page.

Please feel free to share with the young people you work with.

Many thanks and best wishes,
