Mark Wood is an explorer and Scout Adventurer

An established speaker, author and explorer who operates within the cold extremes of our planet, Mark Wood has undertaken over 30 expeditions include reaching the Magnetic North Pole, the Geomagnetic North Pole twice, and completing solo expeditions to the Geographic North and South Poles. Mark is a Scout Ambassador with a passion for education.

1st Twickenham Scouts is delighted to be hosting an evening with Mark, who will talk about how he prepares mentally and physically for expeditions in extreme temperatures. He will talk about his expedition kit, nutrition, fitness and route planning. All of which are key to a successful Scout expedition!
