Never Give In – An inspirational Talk by Scotty Mills

As part of their annual motivational talks, 1st Twickenham Scout troop is pleased to invite you to join them for an evening to listen to Scotty Mills, an ex Royal Marine Commando:
From the tough backstreets of South London, Scotty has gone on to serve both Queen and country and lead Britain’s Commandos on operations around the globe as a Royal Marines Officer. After leaving the Royal Marines, Scotty has worked with sports teams including Gareth Southgate’s England Football team, the England Rugby team and was a Flag Bearer at the 2012 London Olympics.
Scotty will be speaking to our Scouts, Explorers and young people about the essence of teamwork, leading others through challenging times and always striving to do their best.
Many of the skills that Scotty has learnt over the years are transferable and he will describe how our young people can work towards achieving success and accomplish their goals.

There will be a small charge to cover costs.
The event is open to all Scouts, Explorers and Network Scouts in GLSW (and Leaders!)
This is a uniformed event. Those not in uniform will be charged at Guest rates.
