They’re here! Coronation badges have arrived

Date: 20th Apr 2023 Author: Phil Hunt

Badges to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III are here.

Thanks to the generous offer by GLSW Scouts, the occasional badge to be worn on uniform is being supplied free of charge to all uniformed Members in this District.

The badge is being distributed by Richmond upon Thames District in the same way as previous occasional badges and based on census figures.

The badge replaces both versions of the purple In Memory of our Patron badge (which should now be removed from uniform) and the Coronation Badge can be worn from now.

The badge features the official Coronation emblem as approved by the Royal Family and the graphic will become a very familiar sight in the days and weeks to come.

Further supplies can be obtained via the District Commissioner upon request.

Long Live the King!
