Tier 4 Lockdown

Date: 19th Dec 2020 Author: Peter Tomlin

The Government has announced a Tier 4 lockdown from the 20th December across London and much of the South East of England, initially to the end of the year.

This means that you cannot meet other people indoors, including over the Christmas period, unless you live with them, or they are part of your existing support bubble. Outdoors, you can only meet one person from another household.

You must not leave or be outside of your home except for where you have a specific purpose, or a ‘reasonable excuse’ – these exemptions are listed on the Government website here

For Scouting, this means we go back into Red readiness level – no face-to-face Scouting is permitted.
