Touching the Void

A bit short notice but Simon Yates has agreed to come and talk to Scouts and Explorers on Monday 27th March – this is the last week of school term.

His climb in the Andes in 1985 was made into a film – Touching the Void – when he made the decision to cut the rope on his friend who was hanging below him in the dark because he thought he was already dead – but he wasn’t.

1st Twickenham will be hosting the event in All Hallows Church Hall from 7.30-9 pm.

The invite is open to all Scouts,  Explorers and Leaders.
