The District Team is offering Scout Adult Team Leaders and Members across the District a series of two new regular workshops in 2026

These pilot sessions will focus on practical Leader skills, so that groups and units can provide a fabulous programme – and help our young members achieve their top awards!

Scout Skill Workshops will be run on Saturday mornings throughout the year, each focused on different a skill – from maps/compass to fire lighting, knots to team challenges.

More information on this series of workshops can be found here: Scout Skills Workshops 2026 and the dates uploaded into the training diary.

Scout Knowledge Workshops will be run on Saturday afternoons throughout the year. This series will provide regular “drop in” sessions for team leaders and members to gain more knowledge of Scouting and of their role. No specific agenda – just come along and ask! You may want more knowledge on OSM, nights away, team building or special needs – it’s up to you!

More information on this series of workshops can be found here: Scout Knowledge workshops 2026 and the dates uploaded into the training diary.

All sessions will be run at 3rd Hampton Scout HQ – and they’re all FREE!
