Explorer Belt

The Explorer Belt is a challenge of a lifetime. It’s a chance to take part in a ten-day expedition that brings you a real understanding of a different country, its culture and way of life.

The Explorer Belt Expedition is usually run annually by the Greater London South West County, of which Richmond upon Thames is a constituent District.

The expedition is open to Explorers and Network members.

You can find out more about the Explorer Belt – one of Scouting top awards – via the Scout UK website here: https://www.scouts.org.uk/top-awards/explorer-belt/

You will find details of the Explorer Belt Challenge on the District website –  listed on the events page and/or details provided on the News/What’s Buzzing page, when the programme for each year is launched.
