Explorer trip to Sweden Jamboree 2026

Erik Armstrong Explorer Unit is planning to is planning to participate in the Sweden Jamboree 2026 – and is inviting Explorers from other units to join in with the trip.

The Jamboree runs 25th July to the 1st August, and allowing for travel times the minimum trip is likely to be 23rd July to the 3rd August, however depending on interest and cost we may look at spending a day or two of home hospitality before arriving at the Jamboree of before coming home.

We are currently expecting to travel by coach from a pick up location central to the Richmond upon Thames District.

The cost is yet to be confirmed, and will be finalised once plans are finalised but is expected to be £600-800. We expect the Explorers to be able to fundraise most, if not all, of this amount.

Participants must be 14-17 years old as at the first day of the trip.
