Remembrance Sunday 2025 – thank you all…

Thank you to every young person, adult leader and supporters who contributed to Remembrance Sunday 2025
Turnout of Scouts across the District at the many commemorative events seemed especially large this year.
In particular, even more Scouts were present at the already previously well-attended parade through Teddington High Street to the Teddington Memorial Hospital for the commemoration was held at the war memorial, where a final march past of uniformed groups was reviewed by the local MP.
3rd Whitton Scout Group and Edmund Hilary Explorer Unit took part in the Remembrance Sunday events at Twickenham’s war memorial at Radnor Gardens. Caron, GLV of 3rd Whitton Scout Group, pictured, said afterwards:

3rd Whitton Scout Group and Edmund Hillary Explorer Unit were keenly invited by the Twickenham Branch of the Royal British Legion to participate in their Annual Remembrance Sunday Parade from Twickenham Embankment up Cross Deep to Radnor Gardens for The Remembrance Sunday commemoration attended by Civic Dignitaries and the Local Community.
It was an honour to be invited and proud to watch our Young People, Leaders, Trustees & Parents come together for this respected occasion.
